Basket Racing

Are you ready to race Austin?
I'm ready Daddy! And I'm prepared to win this race!
Hey, get your hand off my basket Daddy! You are cheating!
You are still cheating.
Man, this basket moves fast! I won!

Fun time in the bathtub

Look everyone - Mommy thought she would make me look like a snowman by putting all these bubbles on my head.
Oh Boy! I am getting my practice time in for next swimming season.
Tah Dah! Wasn't I great?

A cold Winter Day

Hey Uncle Brooke ! Look I have a big jacket just like that kid in your "favorite Christmas movie"
This jacket is nice and cozy

Look ! I look just like that kid in that movie ! Mommy has me so bundled up, I can barely walk and my arms are sticking straight out !

BLAST OFF

This thing is so much fun ! Ok Daddy I am ready !
Yaa Hoo!!
Did you see that folks ? I can fly on this rocket ship !
Here we go again !
Tah Dah ! That folks is how we ride the rocket ship.

Thanksgiving Day

I had to work Thanksgiving afternoon (2nd shift) so Nana and Poppy had everyone over for a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch. It was great. Here we all are: back row Marc, Uncle Tommy, Roland and Daddy Front Row: Austin, Nana, Me, and Aunt Joyce.
Me, Uncle Tommy and Austin. As you can see Austin was not happy about taking this picture. But at the end of the afternoon he gave Uncle Tommy a great big kiss ! Smack!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone ! Gobble Gobble
This is what everyone looks like after a great meal at Nana's. Austin and his Poppy sitting there relaxing together. How sweet is that?

Reading with Poppy

Read to my Poppy - I love it.
Nana and Poppy bought Austin a cute little drum set that had all kinds of musical instruments in it. See - he is showing you how to shake his tamborine!

November pictures

Here is Austin in his new PJ's and his new haircut - he managed to get ahold of his "blankie"
Austin in his Winnie the Pooh PJ's holding his Winnie the Pooh head
Look Uncle Brooke and and Kat - I can get on and off my rocket all by myself now !!! I love this thing ! BLAST OFF

Halloween for Precious too!

Precious in her pumpkin costume...Yes, I dressed the cat up! It was impossible to resist. Even her eyes are green.
Austin is pointing to precious as to say "hey, you have a pumpkin outfit on just like mine"
This is a view of the front of our house all decorated. Unfortunately, I was only able to get one shot...the battery to the camera died right after I took this ! What luck.

Halloween night

Mommy and Austin. I could not get Austin to smile for the life of me. I think between being exhausted (we were outside all day) and scared he said heck with the smiles. He is dressed as a pumpkin and is as cute as can be!
Austin and his Daddy - "The Goul" - this is the reason he was scared. Marc was the absolute only thing the scared him about Halloween.
Look at that face...I would be scared too ! ha ha
Austin and his Poppy. He smiled big for Poppy!

Sit down time

Boo decided he got a little tired from all his tricks at the pumpkin patch so he decided to sit for a bit with the scarecrow.

Tricks with the cut out

Look Mommy - I can not only poke my head out of this now but I can close my eyes at the same time!

Learning

Trying to get Austin to poke his head through the little cut out was quite tricky - took many many many tries. If you look closley you can see him standing up behind the cut out in this top one.
He is getting a little closer now - I can actually see his eyes and his mouth is wide open with excitement.
Almost there boo.....

Tah Dah ! I CAN get my head through this cut out Mommy!! And I like it!

The Great Big Pumpkin Charlie Brown

Mommy - these pumpkins are almost as big as me!
Ah, Can you get me away from these now - they are starting to spook me out.
Yes indeed, I am still spooked over here
Ah - silly me! these pumpkins aren't scary after all.

Day at the Pumpkin Patch

Boo said "Boo" to the ghost .
Sometimes trying to get both of my guys to look at me is tricky.
Still didn't get it.
Austin got a chance to sit on the haystack.

Peek A Boo

Peek a Boo - I see you!!
This came out so neat and it was totally unplanned. Just one of those fluky things.
Austin was looking through one of the holes in his white toy box when I took this. I just wished I had manged to get both of his eyes in the view of the hole.

Surprise!

Hey everyone! Yes I have FINALLY updated this blog. It took me absolutley forever I know. I do indeed hope to improve on my timing of updating the pictures.
Austin has cut more teeth since I have last posted. I think he now has 12 !! Wow!
For a while he seemed unsure about walking but Nana got him a little walker to help him out a bit - now he is walking around the whole house like crazy! I am planning on taking a little video clip of him walking and putting that on here next week.
Within the last couple of weeks he has learned how to throw a ball also. He loves the ball - I guess a boy is indeed born a boy!
Well all, I am going to close for now. I will indeed have more pictures and hopefully a video or two next week. I have made a promise to myself to keep up with things better and that is a promise that I am going to keep!
Hope you enjoy all the new pictures.
